I recall years ago stepping into our local, hometown bank to get my very first loan. I recall standing in front of the manager of the bank, providing him all of my information. Once providing him a ton of details he was ultimately able to request a loan from the under-signers.

With great anticipation, I sat in front of him for what seemed like an eternity waiting the response. We sat there and spoke on issues of the day and the political arena in the area. And behold, a response came back. I will always remember the words of the bank manager, "Sorry, these folks won't provide you with the loan. You don't have any credit." What he was informing me, was not solely that I didn't have any credit score, but he was telling me also that my credit score was poor.

What is an eighteen yr old gonna do? How are you intended to get excellent credit score if no one could provide you with a loan or a credit card simply because you don't have enough credit score?

Luckily, that day many years ago, my dad was sitting there with me. He looked at the loan officer and said, "What if I would co-sign for him? After that would these folks be willing to offer him the loan?"

The bank manager seemed to consider that was an excellent idea and began the course of action once again, this time getting all of the details from my Dad. We sat again waiting and waiting for an answer. The answer finally came through, "you have been approved as long as you have a co-signer."

That day I was able to get my first loan for $1,000 in order to buy my first car, in spite of the fact that I had bad or no credit score. But how?

I was able to get a Bad Credit Loan by employing the excellent credit score of somebody else. This is basically what I did in the narrative above. I was able to get that $1,000 loan from the excellent credit score of my dad. By getting a co-signer the bank or the individuals financing the cash were certain that somebody would pay. They were able to glimpse into my dad's history of spending, and paying loans, credit cards and bills and guarantee on their own that if I would fault, my dad would pay for me. My dad, the co-signer, was acting as the security for the loan. He was in essence the "Collateral."

Many years have come and gone and many things are different now, but getting a co-signer continues to be an outstanding and stellar way to get a loan if you have bad or no credit score. Go on a search for somebody who will be definetely willing, your dad or mother, your grandfather or father-in-law, an aunt or an uncle or maybe just a good family friend. Find them and tell them your situation. Clarify why you have bad credit and how you got into the present situation. Inform them that you wish to straighten your credit score out and that this will be definetely the first step.

There is no doubt that Financial institutions are in the business of providing Loans. If they did not have this facet of their business these folks could not go on. Banks have always and will always give out loans. In the middle of a bad financial times it is achievable to get a loan with poor credit score. You just need to go on it in the right way.
